We always wait until the morning of Christmas to open boxes and wrap gifts.

Kyle took the kids to Uncle Neil's so I could take Dad to the ER for an infected wound.
Due to Covid I couldn't wait in the waiting room, so I waited in the car and read.
All I really wanted to do today was read anyway. By the time Christmas comes I am worn out. There's been a string of birthday parties and Christmas parties. I am literally done by Christmas. I happily sat in the car and read.
Red and oozing.
Such a happy girl!!! I love having a sweet little girl.
"Because we don't know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four, five times more, perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps 20. And yet it all seems limitless." -Paul Bowles
