I am beginning a series titled: Why Christian Parents Should Consider Homeschooling?

Introduction Part I

“The purpose…is simply to warn parents of potential danger so they are prepared to meet it. If a physician showed you a small tumor on your X-ray, you would want to get several questions answered without delay: ‘What is the nature of the intrusion-will it destroy my body if untreated, or is it benign? If treatment is recommended, what type-drugs, radiation, surgical removal? Should my body be fortified through diet and or exercise to help ward off any threat?’ The best I can hope to do…is show you the ‘X-ray’. If your child is in a local public school, you can then determine if a dangerous disease is present there, the best method of treatment, and how you should fortify him at home (The Child Influencers, p155-156).

Most Christian parents are convinced that they need to train their children in the fear and admonition of God, there is little debate regarding this point. Home Education could be your most effective tool in accomplishing this task; however, it is not the only tool. The purpose of this series is not to debate the virtues of homeschooling versus public/private school or vice versa.

The purpose of these articles is to give (you) Christian parents several points to consider as you decide for your children how and where they will spend 1 million minutes of their lives.
