Busy Season

By Heart of Wisdom Academy - Thursday, February 19, 2009

We've been busy lately. We went to the Va Living Museum. We made a volcano. And we've gotten to read some really good books. Most of the laundry has gotten done which leaves me feeling less burdened. We had a lot of good fellowship this week, that was so refreshing. I'm reading some really good books, and so is my oldest. Maybe tomorrow I'll talk about all the good books we have.

This week we've gotten out more and it's so funny to see people's reactions to "four" kids. I just don't think that is such a big number. Mostly people say, "wow, you're busy", "wow, you must have your hands full", "I don't know how you do it". I do have my hands full, but a wise woman once said, "I would rather have my hands full than empty", that's usually what I tell people. I am in my busy season of life and I'm loving it. I know these days will come to an end all too soon. Many times we meet the elderly who tell us repeatedly to enjoy our children. For now I'll be getting busy in my "busy season", I still have a lot of things left to do. I need to make about 20 diapers. I need to make a shopping list of curriculum needs for next year. Finish kids scripture cards and catechism cards. I start school again in 2weeks so I want to get as much of these things done as possible. I better get get to it.
