What's Working in my Homeschool This Week?
By Heart of Wisdom Academy - Thursday, March 13, 2014
So in my homeschool I need as many non-consumables as possible. I like laminating, but it's too expensive. I like cheap index cards, but they're not durable. I introduce you to Inexpensive AND Durable. OK, durable is actually too strong of a word here, think more like stronger-than-paper, but not-as-strong-as-plastic.
The Dollar Store sells these cute foam shapes. I made a set for sight words, and a set for words from Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. They're cheap enough that if a few get broken or torn, it can be easily, quickly, and cheaply replaced.
