The Beginning of Semester 2 at the Heart of Wisdom Academy

• Kyle started new books this semester. (See schedule) He espeically likes Stories of the Gorilla Country.
• I made some changes to our schedule. For science we are using God's Design for Chemistry
• Kyle continued reading The Hunger Games in spare time. He made it to Part II and stopped. I won't encourage him to read it. I never read it, only watched the movie, but after reading the next 2 books in the series there is way more kissing in the book than in the movie. 
• Twins continued with their 2 new spelling rules. When to use start words with "k" and when to double l, f, and s. We are learning both rules in songs
• Kaden has finished all the Margraet Hilert books from our library
• All younger kids continued with abcmouse.com
• Kason continues with 100 EZ lessons
• Kendal continues learning sounds, counting, and skip counting
