- Last week of 1st semester.
- Kyle finished first semester of Saxon 65 with an 84%
- will not do Saxon next semester, will focus on math facts mastery using Rocket Math and work on fractions, measurement, and geometry until he achieves automaticity with all math facts.
- Started Hunger Games in free reading
- Did not finish Indian Boyhood or Wild Animals I Have Known in this semester, but he really really liked them so we'll continue reading them in free time
- Read lots of books to my littles this week
- Kaden and Peyton continued with 2 new spelling songs.
- Kaden is soaring through Margaret Hillert books and started Little Bear. He can't read it independently, but he is trying really hard
- Peyton and Kason are reading a sight word primer and Bob Books
- All younger children continued doing math together. Adding and subtracting with counters, skip counting, counting to 100, place value and building numbers with 3 digits
- Spent a couple of days at the Living Museum
