Can you tell how much we're enjoying our precious family??
I'm filled with so much gratitude to the Father for his tender mercies toward us.
Genesis is a week old today. I fell asleep smack in the middle of Peyton's reading lesson:-) I had to smile. I'm learning not to sweat the small stuff. Her checkup was great, she is back at birth weight. I really didn't want to go to the appointment and almost canceled. I'm so over spending time and money on weight checks...seriously I have a scale at home.
God answered above and beyond what I asked him in regards to my 5th C-section. The surgery was flawless, and recovery has exceeded everything I prayed for. I'm only taking Motrin for pain and am relatively back to normal. I really have to remember to slow down so that I continue to heal well.
Adjustment has been seamless so far. Genna falls right into the normal rythymn of our family. All the kids are excited and helpful. I've enjoyed quiet time as my husband so sweetly took all the kids for a couple of days for holiday festivities; my mental faculties applauded. I LOVE my big family, but I'm an introvert to the fullest with slightly claustrophobic tendencies. I cherish any alone time the Lord allows me.
We are taking an insane amount of pictures, we want to soak up every minute!!!
