As a young mom, I determined "to be what I want my children to be".

I want my girls to love God and others. If God gives them children, I want them to love them fiercely. I want them to be humble, patient, gentle and kind.

Perhaps God won't give them children. I pray they will love without bitterness or envy. There are so many children that need love.

Whatever God has in store for them. My prayer is that their training at home will prepare them.

Statistically speaking, most girls will become mothers. We prepare children for all sorts of things they may never be: doctors, actors, teachers, musicians, athletes, etc. It is a great disservice not to prepare them to be mothers.
