In preparation for our science lessons for the next 2 weeks, we planted Lima beans in a cd case

 Here we mixed a little dirt with water and stirred. I bought topsoil at Walmart. Ridiculously cheap!!!

 Every child has their own "greenhouse"

 The CD cases are standing so the hinge is at the top. There is an opening, which is where the kids will water their plant daily.

 All lined up in the window, waiting for sun

 With extra dirt, Kenny and I planted several lima beans in a vase

 And then we learned about fertilization
