Week 27 and 28~The Homeschool I Always Wanted

By Heart of Wisdom Academy - Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Sorry my blogging has been so sporatic. I've really needed every spare minute to research. I am constantly researching and learning how to improve the homeschool Several books have consumed by attention as of late deleting computer time for me.

My husband had an accident last week at work. He was hurt badly; his scapula is broken and seperated. He has surgery scheduled for next week. The whole family is taking good care of him. We love him so much, he is an invaluable part of our family. I totally feel like half of me is broken too. I could probably write on how to homeschool through trials because we've had our fair share during our homeschool journey. I actually don't think I can begin to list all the surgeries, hospitalizations, moves, illnesses, etc. that we have endured over the years. Perhaps I'll write that post one day, because everyone homeschool mom will face the same or similiar trials sooner or later. But my time is very short today. I really wanted to make a post because in all the busyness I quickly forget what we've been doing.

I am FINALLY getting the homeschool I've always wanted. A stress-free, living books, family-style learning atmosphere that I've always strived for but could never quite reach. I was frequently interrupted by fear, comparison, envy, testing, state standards, textbooks, and the like.

I have enough time to share my absolute favorite new books!!!!:
Oh these wonderful books have changed my homeschool :-)
