We are all adjusting to being a new family of seven! It is very exciting. I feel mostly back to myself, much better than when I was pregnant. My body isn't physically tired and shutting down all the time. Life is pretty much back to normal. Laundry and cleaning are in full swing, we started school back last Monday which has gone very well. I'm not in pain and my incision is healing perfectly. I have spurts of energy, which is so nice since I haven't had any form of energy for months! I love getting things accomplished during the day. I had to sit on my hands this morning, so I didn't rake leaves. I'm sure that's a "no no". My toddler training is going very well! The biggest need for training was "come here" training. I'm almost ready to graduate him, as he consistently comes to me when called. That one feat has been a tremendous help. Speaking of help there are a lot of little helpers I'm thankful for right now. Like, my phone has an intercom, so I don't have to yell through the house. Love it. And I have a swiffer mop. Talk about convenience. No water, no buckets, instant drying. It's nearly revolutionized my life! I'm constantly thankful that God continues to renew my strength just when I'm running out. People have been bringing us meals so I haven't really had to cook. It's a little unusual that I'm up right now but I needed to do some research on word problem strategies. Well that's it for now. I do need to get some sleep. Speaking of which, this is a staged photo, this baby doesn't like the bassinet. In fact he doesn't really like sleeping. To be perfectly honest, he isn't really that happy unless someone is holding him. Lucky for him there are six willing people ready to oblige. :-)
