This is the conversation I overheard between Kyle and Peyton.

Peyton was asking me to play with Kyle's math blocks and I told her "no" and she proceeded to keep asking me. This is what Kyle said:

Kyle: Mommy is not a Please Mommy, she's not like Daddy. If you ask daddy for something he'll say no, but if you keep begging please he'll say yes. But if you ask mommy and she says no, it doesn't matter how many times you say please, begging won't work. She's not a Please Mommy.

I thought that was soooo funny!

So I've been working hard making sandpaper letters and other manipulatives for the kids. I finished the sandpaper letters and showed my husband. I explained that they were sensorial and that kids say the letter and touch the letter, it helps them to better remember it. He replied: "Oh, okay, is this for like if they go blind or something?"



HA!!I just laughed, I thought that was so funny. Who goes around making materials in case their kids go blind?
